When I was growing up, I never thought I'd see the day when cord management became an essential thing. The only time two things would be plugged in together was if we wanted a piece of toast while watching Bonanza. But now that I have a computer with a million wires going everywhere, it's hard for me to tell which is which. The Recoil winds them up individually, so I can stick on a label. Ah, organization is wonderful, if something I never saw coming.

I was impressed with the capacity of this cord management system. This smaller Recoil can't fit the wider cord diameters of its larger cousins, but it can hold just as much length. Up to 60" can fit inside the system, which is longer than most slim electronics cords. This is a very intuitive system that required almost no instruction for me to figure out. I like the smaller size because it gets the job done without taking up a ton of space.

Without wire management, I'd be tempted to throw away all my earbuds. Those things get so tangled with themselves and each other, it's like trying to unravel a nest of vipers every time I want to use one. Plus, we have lots of different earbuds, so it's always hard to tell which is which. Recoil solved all those problems. Each pair now has their own Recoil case that keeps them separate and tidy. What a great idea.

I've found that a lot of cable wire management systems do untangle cords, but they're also too big to carry around. This small winder does the same great job of whipping wires into shape, but it's ridiculously tiny. Girl clothes don't have any deep pockets, but still I can carry this Recoil with me. I haven't found a better way to organize my wires yet.

I needed some wire management badly. I like to bike with headphones, but the headphone cord is really long. So they get all tangled up, and I get all tangled up, and then I can't access my device while biking...and it's all terrible. This little winder makes things a lot more convenient. I can just wrap up my cables in the winder, and I don't have to worry about any sort of tangles. A very convenient tool.
